What are some Science Fiction movies you have seen? What are some characteristics of the genre? For example, you might have seen a movie set in space.

I have seen:
starwars [all of them]
Dr. jeckle And Mr. Hyde
The Fifth Element

I dont remember anymore but some characteristics that these all share are they are futuristic, and they involve things that aren't possible in present day.

Some Science fiction movies that i have seen, are:
-Alien
-Star wars
-Running Man
-Minority Report
-Men in black
-Resident Evil
-Star ship troopers

Mostly all the settings of these movies were in space, or some other planet other than earth. All movies in general, show us scenarios and events that are just really impossible. These movies show futuristic ideas.

Some Science Fiction movies that I have seen is War of the Worlds, E.T, Star Wars, Signs, Alien, Terminator, & IRobot. All of these movies have the writers idea of what the future sort of is like. All of these movies are not "today-like". There is something out of the ordinary that can not be explained, like the idea of aliens. These movies do not tell so much about where the alien came from but instead how it got there and why it is there.

i've seen Star wars, minority report, resident evil, starship troopers, alien, predator, men in black, and terminator.

All these movies represent the future and what is not likely to happen in the present.

I've seen Alien V. Predator, Star wars, men in black, and the latest District 9. Every movie is set in the future where everything is different and pretty much these sets is usually like the prediction of what is going to be in the future.
